1952 - Bob Kalbitz Sr. Insurance Agency
In 1952 Bob Kalbitz Sr. resigned from Humble Oil & Refining Company to start his own independent insurance agency.
1979 - Bob Kalbitz Jr. Insurance Agency
The agency grew and prospered through 1979 when Bob Kalbitz Jr. purchased it from his Dad.
1982 - Kalbitz/ Beverly Agency
In 1982 the agency was purchased by the Beverley Insurance Agency and renamed the Kalbitz/ Beverly Insurance Agency.
1986 - Harris County Insurance Center
In 1986 the 15/15 Agency, the Insurance Center, and the Kalbitz/Beverly Agency merged to form the Harris County Insurance Center.
1998 - Lucas Agency
In 1998 we expanded again with the purchase of the Lucas Agency.
2001 - Purchased and Reorganized
in 2001 we were purchased and reorganized with Bob Kalbitz Jr. named managing general partner.
2001 - 2008 Still Going Strong
Since 2001 we have purchased five additional agencies and added a start-up agency in Brenham, Texas. We now have offices in Baytown,Clear Lake, Leauge City, Hempstead, and Brenham. We have written over 20 million dollars in premium and have over 40 insurance professionals to serve your insurance needs.
The Dream Lives On
